Frequently Asked Questions
How physically fit do I need to be?
You should be in good physical condition and have some prior trekking experience. We recommend at least 3-4 months of regular cardio training before the trek.
What is the best time to trek to Everest Base Camp?
The best seasons are March-May (spring) and September-November (autumn). These months offer the best weather and clearest views.
How do we handle altitude sickness?
Our itinerary includes proper acclimatization days. Our guides are trained in wilderness first aid and can recognize symptoms early. In severe cases, we will descend immediately.
What kind of accommodation is available?
We stay in tea houses/lodges along the trail. These are basic but comfortable, with shared dining halls and simple rooms with twin beds.
Is there electricity and internet on the trail?
Most tea houses charge for electricity charging and Wi-Fi. Expect intermittent connectivity, especially at higher altitudes.
What happens if my Lukla flight is delayed?
Flight delays to Lukla are common due to weather. We build buffer days into the itinerary and can adjust the schedule if needed.
